What do we do?
Our mission and passion is to connect cultures through sustainable tourism and the teaching of Spanish as asecond language. For us as a travel agency specialized in language tourism, the most important thing is to create unforgettable and enriching experiences, both for our local community and for our students/travelers and allies.
We believe that tourism can become an instrument of sustainable development for local communities, a channel for environmental education, and a source of learning thanks to the cultural exchange with our travelers. For this reason, we create intensive language and cultural immersion programs in a country rich in natural and cultural tourist features.
Our director and team
Smart Spanish – Immersion programs in Colombia was born from the idea of our founder Laura, who is passionate about Colombia, sustainable tourism and Spanish language teaching. Laura has a degree in tourism management and has wide experience in the design of sustainable tourism experiences; she is a magister in business administration, specialized in marketing and is also a certified teacher of Spanishas a second language. She has experience managing and designing ELE learning programs since 2018. Her goal is to see Colombia positioned as a destination for ELE learning in Latin America and generatesocial impact in local communities.
